About Joshua Porter, Performable and Bokardo.com

Joshua Porter is an interface designer and co-founder of Performable, where he builds software to help marketers test and optimize their web sites. He's an interface designer, consultant, and writer focusing on social web applications. He loves making interfaces that are easy and pleasurable to use.

In addition to co-creating the ABtests.com site, Josh wrote the groundbreaking book, Designing for the Social Web. (He's working on a second edition, too.) He also speaks internationally on social design issues, including presenting at dConstruct in England and Webstock in New Zealand.

Since 2003, Josh has written the popular design blog, bokardo.com, for six years. On his blog, he writes about reputation, interface design, identity, recommendations, and other social interaction design issues. Josh lives in Newburyport, Massachusetts, USA with his wife and two daughters.
